Individual Counselling and Support Groups

Adult Support Group

Epilepsy South Central Ontario is continuing to host our monthly Adult Support Group on the fourth Monday of each month.  Groups will run from 7-9 pm and are now being offered virtually through the ZOOM Meetings platform.

If you would like to attend our next meeting or receive email reminders about upcoming groups, please contact Max Baxter at

Youth Support Group

At this time Youth Empowerment Program is offering bi-weekly virtual support groups via Zoom designed for youth and young adults ages 15 – 30 living with a diagnosis of epilepsy as well as siblings to those with a diagnosis.

Our Halton/Peel/Hamilton group and our Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph support groups have now combined to welcome youth and young adults in any of these areas, as well as surrounding areas, to connect with each other from anywhere! Support group meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. We are also working actively to provide educational, social, and life skill-building programs virtually and look forward to announcing these activities as they are planned.

If interested in joining our Youth Empowerment Program’s virtual youth and young adult support group meetings please contact Carly Smith at to receive updates and reminders on youth and young adult programming.
